A lot has happened in the last few days.
First, the doctor did indeed say, "see you next week." We made an apointment for the following Wednesday and made tentative plans to induce on the 10th if nothing happened.
This all became purely academic when Victoria's water broke at Neiman Marcus on Saturday around 1:00 pm.
We happened to be passing through Neiman's on our way to do some serious mall walking when Vic had to high-tail it to the ladies. She came out a few minutes later with a grin the size of a quarter moon.
It's time!
The story is a bit long and I'm a bit tired, so I will fill in the details later. Sufice it to say that William Rowan Wise was born at 1:01 am on Sunday September 2nd.
He and his mother are healthy and we are all very happy.
